How do you respond to suffering?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 25, 2008:
My response to suffering depends on the whole situation...If life has just been disappointment after disappointment, sometimes I'll just be like "Why me God?" But then I'll remember the story of Job, how the devil did just about everything but kill the man and he would always say, "The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away..." Then my problems seem so insignificant, and I'll feel bad that I even thought that... If it's something small, I'll probably just be like, "Well, life isn't fair, but I will try to make the most of the situation."
